I read somewhere that your nervous system is faster and older than your mind, and it decides what you deserve before your mind can even catch up, often basing its decisions on old beliefs if you don’t update them.

I think this is what my nervous system believes an apprenticeship is.

Found this cutie on the ground and am now fascinated with the phrase “Noodle 2.”
Could it be any cuter?* I added an addendum.

1️⃣ Noodles², pronounced “Noodles squared,” is ravioli.

2️⃣ A Noodle²doodle, pronounced “Noodledoodle” (the 2 is silent), is a dachshund/mini poodle twofer¹, like the surnames Labradoodle and Goldendoodle.** 🐩 The 2 is in superscript form because not unlike a mini poodle, it’s a supercutie mini of the full-cutied figure.

3️⃣ Noodlez²Moodlez, pronounced “Noodles to Moodles,” is like Boyz II Men for dogs, but the actual transformation story is more reminiscent of the sci-fi series Animorphs and its enchanting portraiture of humans morphing into other animals. But for Noodlez²Moodlez, instead of inter-species morphing, it’s inter-oodle morphing. (Noodle = dachshund, Moodle = maltese/poodle.) It’s dogs that can morph into a different breed of similar size and stature, a level of subtlety not often seen or undertaken in this genre.

4️⃣ Noodle2 would’ve been my AIM screen name had I found this golf ball back then. The screen name I wanted was taken, so instead of adding a number to the end, I removed a strategically chosen vowel like it was a reverse Wheel of Fortune. I wonder now if Noodle2 was also taken.

Footnotes:🎵
¹ It's a little 1 'cause it's a little'un.

**Pronouncing noodle²doodle "noodle-to-doodle" makes me think "leave it to beaver." I would like to know if this is a widespread phenomenon (in a world where noodle-to-doodle is a spoken phrase).

Every sentence I write ends with a little yellow dot. I don’t know where it came from. It might’ve been a spark landing on my phone when I was welding

Rufous-collard green, as featured in the 1917 Brazilian choro song “Tico-Tico no Farelo,” or “sparrow in the bran.” The song was later changed to “Tico-Tico no Fubá” (sparrow in the cornmeal) to avoid confusion with another song called “Tico-Tico no Farelo.”

“For example, one can now search not only for how many times Leopold references chickadees in the Shack Journals*, but also where chickadees are referenced across resources from authors in other collections as well.”

*While making no mention as to why someone would need to know how many times Leopold references chickadees

She heard a firework and got scared, so I tried this bilateral tapping thing on her. I did the taps on the sides of her shoulders/upper arms and sort of swayed with her side to side with the taps.

It’s too early to tell, but I think it really worked. It definitely worked on me. It seems like the type of thing that works best as like a secondhand benefit while helping someone else. I wouldn’t know the difference though.
